Hello! I am very interested in your Master's project on the White Workhorse tractors! Sounds like fun...if graduate school can be called "fun"! A few years ago, I did an Applied Research Project for my BA at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN on Cummins RePowers for Oliver and White tractors. Got an 'A' on the project, and graduated with honors (quite a feat for an old diesel mechanic)! Anyway, now I am at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, working on my M. Div. I still keep my hands in the grease, working on IH trucks here in town. I would enjoy hearing more about yuor project. You can either reply here, or reach me at my e-mail. Best wishes!
Merlin

Merlin, I've noted with interest that you are attending Concordia Seminary in St Louis. My nephew teaches there - Tom Egger. He is not a farm boy but his father-in-law (my brother, now also a minister) was raised on a farm in Iowa driving Oliver tractors. Three of us brothers have now gotten into restoring the old Ollies. I'm going out to do some painting on my 880 diesel later today. ADB. P.S. I have always assumed that mechanics will be unemployed in heaven. At least I hope my stuff doesn't break down any more then.

Hello, ADB-Ia! Thanks for the reply! My mother is from Iowa, and I have relatives all over the state. I have not had Prof. Egger for any classes yet. Best wishes for your painting project: I hope you have a warm place to paint!
Blessings to you!
Merlin
