I'm switching my 880 gas from positive to negative ground. Articles I've read regarding the change to negative ground don't mention the fuel and temperature gauges. Will I need to make any changes there?

Can I ask why you are changing polarity? Those generators if tuned up should be more than adaquate for th charging system.

Charging system isn"t working, probably the regulator. A new regulator is $60. A rebuilt Delco alternator with an internal regulator is less. I use the tractor in the woods and am considering adding an electric winch. The addional output from an alternator will be useful. Will probably switch to electronic ignition, too, wich requires negative ground.
