Just purchased a Oliver 77 RC. I'm doing a ground up restortion on it. I hear Tisco paint is a good paint to use. There are two diffrent greens listed on this site. A med. green which is a darker green, and a meadow green. I was wondering wear I could see some paint chips of these colors. Does anyone have any pictures of a tractor painted with this paint? I think it would be a risk painting it if I don't even know what the colors look like. I just don't want to go through all that work and not be happy with it. I'm counting on you guys!!!
Erik

Here's a web site for PPG's tractor paint. I would use their paint or Martin Senour's sold by NAPA stores. I used their Single Stage polyurethae with hardener on a Troy Bilt tiller
and it looks new. Hal
PS: I have several pictures of tractors painted with Martin Senour. I can email them to you. They aren't Olivers or I would post them here.

I wouldn't use an off the shelf paint for a fleetline. The color was different on the 49 and 50s than it was 51 up. same with the decals by the way. Up through 50 they were red, then yellow after that. I would use the paint code numbers and have it mixed at a good auto parts store that mixes paint. I think somebody said Sherry has the paint codes at Oliverinformation.com. I got a list of all of the codes at the local Agco dealer.
