We were passing through the Iowa City / Coralville area of Iowa yesterday. While there we stopped in at the Merriott Hotel the site of the upcoming Winter Meeting. It's just off I-80 at the 242 mile marker. One of the staff gave us a tour of the facilities and the area that will be available during the meeting.

WOW what a facility. You will be impressed, it's new and a very beautiful facility. There is more than enough room for the preceeding auction. The tractor display area is very large, will hold more hay bales than any one of our members have. It will hold all of the display tractors that show up. You will be able to drive your truck and trailer in and unload inside out of the cold. It will be a challenge to fill it. Those members that are close, git em out and bring em. You can bring in displays on Wed. I'm planning on hauling one 300 miles if the snow doesn't get too deep.
As a side note, the Iowa Antique Auto Museum is across the street.

Yes you can come even if you aren't a member of the HPOCA. The show is January 25 - 27. There will be an Aumann Auction for Oliver Memorabilia Friday night. Indoor tractor show Friday & Saturday with around 70 tractors. Over 50 vendor tables.
