Ihave a 62 model 550 that I bought this summer and have discovered that hydraulic fluid is leaking into the transmission. Is there any other way it can get in other than the seals in the pump. I haven't run it but around an hour since I got it and has been setting in the shop for 3 months. When I went to check rear end fluid level the fluid that ran out was not mixed but trans. on the bottom and red hyd. on the top making be think it had leaked when the motor wasn't running. Any help would be appreciated. Have had a 1850 since new in 67 and haven't been faced with problem. thanks , Tommy

I would change the o rings in and on the pump, and change the gaskets on the linkage between the pump and the reservoir, whil it is apart i would clean out any buildup in the reservoir.
