I got you email but my yahoo account is messed up so I can't reply to anything.. I'm not going to be able to go to any auctions for quite a while, even though it would be fun. Which one are you asking about?

rp1555 are you sure they sold? I bet if you go back in a week or two they will still be there.
They don't let anything go cheap or they buy it themselves. You can't get any good deals at a auction Chuck's at.

Would that be Chuck Tesch in Forest Junction? my dad and i looked at their place for a loader to possibly mount onto either our 165 or 285, and the prices were rediculous for a used unit. Same thing for a set of 18.4-38 duals...

I drove through there recently and saw they had a bunch of 7 shank disc chisels, I'd be curious to know what they would have went for. And I'd also be curiouse to know if they are under new ownership now, because Chuckie Tesch was as crooked of an auctioneer as they come.

Auction was this morning. I would think that a G750, if nice, would be better left in original condition. I thought I heard a number around 212 of those were ever made, so if its decent, leave it original. I dont think 5 grand would have touched it, but who knows. Anyone know what it went for????

Here is the one I am talking about. It wasn't very well advertized, just in the local WI paper. Here is the lineup: 2-155 2-135 2-85 2255 1850 D 1755 D restored 1655 G 1600 G 770 MM G750 D WF I would love to buy that G750 but it just doesn't look like things are working out. I have called several times for pictures, but I think their computer is giving them problems. The timing and distance just aren't going to work for me. Sure would be nice if someone bought it with the intention of having it restored it for the rest of us to enjoy at future Oliver shows. I did talk to Chuck earlier in the week and he said it was a 1 owner consignment and all original. I was hoping to get a picture and put a absentee bid in for 5K. Then I would have to worry about hauling which is probably another 1K. I guess the hunt continues. Here is the link: http://www.wisfarmer.com/015.pdf
