I have a 1955, just wondering how much it usually costs to rebuild an over under if everyting is working , just leaks a little and has around 6000 hours on it.

Depends on condition of shafts. These are simple units to rebuild with the right resources and cost largely depends on condition of shafts and other internal parts. I've rebuilt them without having to replace any shafts or major parts (new sprockets, rings, gaskets, sprag clutch, etc.) for around $400-$500 in parts. And you can get by with only very basic tools if need be.
