What is your difinition of a manual? Some people call advertising brochures a manual. Others call parts books a manual. Then there are the Oliver service or I&T manuals.

Other than a small amount of 950 industrial advertising (and this is on the 950 gas and diesel) there is not much on just the 950 tractors.

Other than engines and the front frames, and in the case of the 995 with the added torque converter, the 950/990/995 were almost the same, parts wise. That is why almost everything in print form will list all three tractors together.

Thanks for the reply.

My definition - the most complete references that I can find. I have used IT manuals for my Allis tractor and it is a bit weak. John Deere seems to have a better handle, but the best in technical and parts reference is what I'd be looking for.

I would get a parts book from the museum. As far as a "shop manual" I & T is your best chice. If Oliver printed one I never seen the form number to order one. Like I told you in my e-mail if you received it there was a ton of information printed in Service bulletins that start with the 950's preddicessor the Super 99 models with the Oliver engines.

I appreciate the feedback.

I'll order up a set of I&Ts today and if someone else has another resource hopefully they will chime in.

Again thanks!
Gary

The main IT manual you will want is O-7 that covers the 99 and Super 99 series, and the update O-13 that covers the 950/990/995. On the front cover is a statement about how the O-13 takes up where O-7 leaves off.
