Hi to all of ya's out there. I have never had this much trouble sourcing parts for any tractors I have ever owned. Parts that were available for Cockshutt tractors 5 years ago are now unavailable or discontinued from AGCO. I was told that there is a Cockshutt club of some sort that is quite helpful with retsoring these tractors. I love these old tractors that are built in Canada and I wish I could get some help before I go crazy. Thanks to all in advance I really look forward ot your supplies.

hey you guys have been just swell. Ya's certainly have given me some hope in regards to being able to get my parts. I thought there for awhile I was doomed aw well all is well that ends well. I was wondering both of my tractors need the front and rear engine seals. They seem to leak oil pretty good. Can I still get these from AGCO? Thanks again in advance to all

Hey
Does anyone have information on how to join this "International Cockshutt Club" maybe a link in the form of an email address of someone who can get me signed up. What are the qualifications to join aside from dues? Thanks to all in advance

The International Cockshutt Club is the place to go. Many of the members have parts for for sale.

I Have a cockshutt 30 and a 570 Diesel and am looking at a couple others. I haven't had any problems obtaining parts so far. one has a Buda engine, the other a Hercules. NAPA has tune-up parts and filters. Some aftermarket sheetmetal is available and there are salvage yards that have some used parts. There is a couple of guys in PA. that has most anything you need. Part of the fun of collecting and restoring old tractors is finding the stuff to do it with. If you are not willing to look a little, maybe you need a different hobby!!

Hey, I have a 1959 Cockshutt 540 and a 1961 Cockshutt 570 Super. Basically if I can't get parts, ie fenders, gauges and motor rebuilds for both then I will end up selling them and sticking to my Internationals. I mean I love these tractos but at the same time I like somehting to use and not just sit there you know. Thanks again and bye for now

First of all you need to understand a couple of things about both engines. Both are sleeveless engines. You need to know what to order so you need to have them apart and measure everything up. The 540 with the Continental will be the easiest as it was used many places. Some items are getting a little hard to come by, but parts are available in the aftermarket. Napa will have that. The 570 will be a little tougher. Not many H code engines were built. You need to contact Jerry Biro as he is North America's largest Hercules parts dealer for obsolete Hercules parts. Also remember the fun thing about both of them compared to most IH tractors is the number that was produced. Companies are going to produce parts for products they can make money at. We rebuilt a Caddy one time for a guy. Popular car, but G-M must have decided if you had problems with your Caddy it was time to get something else because if you could afford the Caddy you could affort to trade and you would not rebuild it. Now a go to work Chevie of which there are a lot more of, parts are plentifull and cheap. Confused? sent me your email and we can talk about it. Also a comment on the pistons for the 570, Zollner made them. Zollner has also reorganized and the Hercules that made the 570 is no more so things get real interesting. Also be carefull with the military Hercules. Not all the dimensions are the same as for the civilinan Hercules engines (parts will not interchange) More questions?J

You can get engine parts for the Hercules engine at Kraftpower. They can be reached at 1-888-925-7238. You will need the engine model and serial number. FoleyEngines will have the Continental
parts at 1-800-233-6539. Hal

O ya I almost forgot, when I said Cockshutt tractors I mean the ones that Cockshutt actually built, example the round nose series and the 500 series. Are any of the Oliver built tractors this hard to get parts for? I'm only 18 so maybe I'm just going about this worng when it comes to parts hunting. I appreciate all your ageless knowledge fellas. Thanks again in advance.
