I called Korves to order a rebuilt water pump for my 60, and found that they are no longer selling them. Does anyone know where to buy a rebuild kit or a rebuilt pump? Or should I just try to take mine apart and put in a new seal?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, my local Napa tells me that they don't send pumps out to be rebuilt.

This is like a political talk. You can buy a kit, you can also buy a seal seperates. NOW the play on words: If your pump has the new style impeller you can use the new style seal, if you have the old style impeller and seal yet, you need a kit. Those old style seals and impellers were discontinued in the 1960's so now you have the rest of the story. No matter which way you go you will need to resurface the wear surface for the seal, old or new style. More questions? J.

Thanks for the reply. How do I tell an old style impeller from new style? Who sells kits?
