There was a tidy pair of 18-27 fenders for sale on one of the stalls at the Midwest old threshers reunion last year .

I assume you are talking in Mt Pleasant. Thats just 40 miles from me. Dont suppose you remember the asking price. I also thought I might check out Waukee this spring.

Yes Mt Pleasent, Sorry I cant remember the price but was not silly money, Only reason I didnt buy them was getting them home (to UK).
It's rare to find Good 1930's Oliver spares at shows but keep looking, they are to be found.
good luck.

If you have the old fenders your local metal/welding shop can probably make you new fenders. They can make the brackets too, but they would need the old fenders and brackets for patterns. Hal

I restored 5 or 6 of those Standardtwin garden tractors and I needed new fan shrouds for some of them. I took one of the shrouds to a metal shop that makes a lot of duct work for houses. When I ask them if they could make me a new one I told them that I wasn't in an hurry for it. He said to come back in about an hour. They charged me $10.00 and it fit like a glove. Hal
