Looking for information on an Oliver 525 combine. The tag on the side of the cab give the serial # as 0240155 and motor serial # as 87294c. we know it has a 6 cyclinder Chrysler engine in it. Any information about year, parts availablty (espesially a head gasket), etc.. would be appeciated. Thanks Jon

Jon I own a 4296 mm which is a yellow 545 which is the larger brother to the 525.Now I know for a fact that all the parts are still in the warehouse for my machine. So I assume your parts would be too.If you have a part number for your combine add a (w) to the front of the number when you call the dealer. So try wmx-s1732 or w-s1732 or it is listed in my book as mx-s1732 or just run over and try Napa or your local parts store.Good machine overall built off Cockshutt design.

525s were made from about 1968 to 1974 in Brantford Ontario. Parts could be hard to find unless you locate a older White Agco dealer with parts books and willing to help you. Try to find a mfg.# on old head gasket. The Chrysler industrial engine gasket may be different than the automotive gasket.

I have a 525. Mine is one of the early ones. I don't have too much trouble getting parts. According to my parts book, the head gasket is part# MX-S1732. Any AGCO-WHITE dealer should be able to check. E-mail if you have other questions.
