3208 Turbocharged 2255

Anyone ever seen a 2255 Oliver with the 3208 have a turbocharger on it? I know they never offered them that way even in the 2-180's, but I would like to try it. I know that oil capacity and cooling and also engine coolant capacity would have to be increased, but I think it is possible. Has anyone seen or heard about one?

Hello, Ethan! Yes...I have seen three of them, just this past summer! These three 2255's were all pulling tractors. They were built by Marty Smith of Nixa, Missouri. I saw them one Friday night in early June at a pull near Neosho, MO. If you install a factory turbo 3208, you will need to modify the fuel tank, and do several other mods. Marty Smith has an awesome website: I believe it is called "Oliver V8 Puller". Do a web search: it is fun! Best wishes!
