Dang it! I missed it, that's just up the road, too. I think it was originally scheduled for the previous weekend but it was too wet I would guess. Was there for threshing oats a few weeks earlier and checked out the cherry original Super 88D. Appreciate the pic.

Can't tell you how many bottoms, most were pulling 2 or 3 btms. There was a 1955 with a 4 btm 5540 plow and a 550 that are not pictured. All were Oliver plows except the 550 had a MM plow. The event was limited to Oliver, MM & Cockshutt tractors and equipment.

The corn was chopped when the ground was really wet. It pulled extremely hard. If you plowed down one of the tracks that the wagon made when the corn was chopped, it really put the brakes on. We have plowed this field before and I don't remember it pulling that hard.

One of the ladies took the photo with my camera, she didn't take any photos from the back.

Awesome pic! How many bottoms were there all together? Were they using Oliver plows too?
