I am looking for information about a tractor I have found. It is a rubber tracked military Cletrac and I believe it was called an SMV3.M2. Are there many around and is it worth restoring?
Thanks for your help.
Matt

I have 4 m-2's and hope to restore one of then next year. The tracks are the most important part and does your engine run? They have many add on parts, Winch. air compre4ssor, generators, etc.

Albert,
This Cletrac does not run, the engine is free and it had a winch mounted on the front. It looks like it used to have something mounted on the right front fender. The one thing that worries me is the cables in the tracks. It had been setting for a long time and I wonder if the cables might be so stiff that they would break. I think I might have a buyer so I might not even mess with it.
thanks matt
