Hey Everyone

Just recently purchased a Cockshutt 540 and I have a few questions. I read somewhere that these tractors came standard with three point hitch and hydraulics to run a remote trailing cylinder on a disc or cultivator. However when I look at mine I only see two hydraulic hoses running to the cylinder that runs the three point hitch, I've looked and there doesn't seem to be and auxiluary line running to a remote hook up. Can anyone answer my question out there? thanks in advance

My 540 came without the remote hoses, but had the remote lever on the right side behind the 3 point lever. I took out 2 pipe plugs, and hooked hoses and couplers to it. It will work the same time the 3 point is operating. Mine is a 1958.

My 35 is the same set-up, I think- hoses run from the hydraulic pump under the seat, to the cylinder that lies horizontally under the left floorboard, and runs the 3 point. The hoses have couplers that you can disconnect, and then connect hoses to the implement. This disables the 3 point, of course, but if you have a trailed implement, that doesn't matter.
