Two things. What is the torque for the head bolts? And, can someone tell me how the exhaust is suppose to fit in a normal fashion (no orchard)

THe serial number of my tractor is 1 320 400. Any ideas when and where it was made

I wish someone would give me a tractor like that. I saw a Super 44 go for $10,000 at an auction a few years ago & another one go for $7000. The $10,000 one looked just like new, maybe even better. I believe those Super 44's were only made 1 or 2 years. Hold on to that tractor. It's a rare one & you're lucky to have it.

I heard that myself. I have also been given a 2 Allis Chalmers B, Model 30 Co-Op, Oliver OC-3 and 2 Cockshutts. I had to pay 850.00 for a 48 Dodge 1 1/2 ton flat bed, 45 Farmall A. The 45 Pirsch Fire Truck was given to me.

Now I need the $ to restore all of them

According to a book I have, it looks like your Super 44 is a 1957. They were built at the South Bend Plant Number 2 in South Bend, Indiana.

Thanks for the info. A guy gave this tractor to me last Saturday He said it had been in the Oregon blackberries for many, many years. When I went to look at it, I could not even see it. The engine was stuck, but no more. Three of 4 tires hold air and are not checked, gas tank has no rust or water or debris, oil pan is clean, no water in trans or rear end and still had green antifreeze in the engine. It should run this weekend
