Got a Oliver 70 with serial number 202748, which would suggest it is a 1936. I find this hard to believe!! The history section says they didn't start making them till 1937... So, what do I have a MILLION dollar machine??? jim

I have my Father"s Model 70, serial no. 221 164. I have the operator"s manual , Parts book and a hand written sheet of final inspection before delivery dated March 9, 1938.. It is a styled tractor, all rubber, F&H rear rims with spokes. Serial tag reads Hart Parr works, Charles City Iowa.

Is this an Oliver Hart-Parr 70? If so they were introduced in the fall of 1935. According to my book your serial # relates to a 1936 model. In the fall of 1937 the 70 was restyled and the Hart-Parr name on the radiator was dropped.

Sorry, they started in 1935 with # 200 001. My book says 202 748 is a 1937

If anyone has the serial number book by Lloyd Mccray,the serial numbers for a 1936 rc 70 read 200 686 - 200 728 . It should read 200 686 -
208 728. sorry for the misinformation.
