Does anyone know where I can pick up some used or after market radiator grill assemblies and the grill center assembly for a 1955 Super 55? The tractor that I purchased is missing the center piece and the grills are so bent out of shaft that I question that I will be able to make them presentable.

Also I am in need of a new oil pan for a gasoline engine. It looks like someone hit something hard and it needs to be replaced.

An oil pan from a 66 will work also, and the chances of finding one in better condition is easier. Not that they are more plentiful, but the 66 has much higher ground clearance than the S55; therefore less chance of being bent/damaged.

Before you say that, I used to have and probably still do have a service bulletin that said the 66 oil pan was discontinued because the Super 55 pan would fit a 66 but there were some interference problems using the 66 pan on a Super 55. Not to be smart But one off of a super or 660 would work. Now what the problem was I don't remember. J.

John: Thanks for the correction regarding the 66 oil pan. I sure hate to pass on the wrong info.

Maibach's Tractor in Creston Ohio, 1-800-808-9934
If I recall that center piece is quite pricey, I need one but Im waiting to pay it. Also check ebay, they sometimes have parts to these. I also think the oil pan can be from either a diesel or gas.
