This site was so helpful when I had a problem finding parts to repair my 880 seat, I'll try again...

The rear wheel(rim)on my 880 split open, too much solution over the years. Do you where I can find a replacement rim? According to the tire, its 15.5 x 38 on a 14" rim. I've checked the local junkyards and most of their choices are little better than what I have now. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Jim

For a new rim I'd ask your local Tire dealer that also handles Ag tires. I've gotten new rims from our local tire store. Used rims in good shape will be difficult to find as you've found out. Miller tire out of Ohio is an option for new but shipping will be costly. I did place a classified ad on this site for a hard to find used tire and was pleased with the response I got. I ended up buying one that way.

Try Carroll Vikel at 319-645-2627.
Also, try O'Brien County Implement on internet. Also could try Frantzen Family Farm in Monmouth, IA. Also Colfax Salvage. Good luck. Also, there's a guy in Rock Valley, IA who has a lot of salvage parts.

Where are you located? I can think of 2 places to call and both are in Northwest Ohio. J.

Sorry... I'm located in NW Minnesota. After looking at used rims, I'm not sure what one could not be sent by UPS, or some other such service.
