Oil seal for 77

I am currently working on the brakes and can't find an oil seal that is behind the big nut that holds the brake drum on .My tractor is a 49 model with band brakes. The only number I can find is 1-M1117. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Seals are usually pretty east to get, and not awful expensive. The best places to try are bearing stores,(in the yellow pages under bearings or drives ) if you access to one, because they will have people with
realative technical skills, and will not be intimidated by something odd. Make sure you know the shaft size. That, they will ask you. Actually, the only critical measures are the shaft size, and the casing size. The thickness doesn't matter, as old seals are usually leather, and your new one will be rubber. Auto parts stores will have them, but you got to get the right person behind the counter...someone who can read, measure, and spend a few minutes with you. I have bought numerous odd seals ( at bearing places), and have not even had to have them backodered...probably will cost $20 bucks or so. Good luck, and if you get stuck, E mail me
