Wasn't the original staring bid $18,500, or am I just imagining that it went up $1000 overnight?

hey Luke, get a chance, go over to redhage service on kiel-lyon road see the 1865 Oliver he has for sale really an odd ball, I've been walking around that thing for a year now, is running, straight sheet metal, could be a head turner at the Oliver shows. Are you burnt out as far as hay production, we are - talk to you soon.

It has a Cummin "B" series 4 cylinder engine, non turbocharged. The engine has a Lanchester balancer. Uses the same transmission as the 1555, O/U Drive option, open center hydraulic system.
In my opinion they will become collectable. They were available in silver, red and yellow paint as well.

So it had the spur gear transmission, not helical - or did they not carry that over from the 1550?

It had a Cummins 4-cylinder, 3.9L (239 CID) engine...don't know if it had the engine balancer or not.
