Here are the various numbers off the engine:
Cpl 0714
401 series
Model 6B5.9-A
Manufactured date 1992-03-02
Serial number 44724668

My hired man found the #4 injector to be bad. Do I replace only one or all 6. I am also looking for a replacement exhaust manifold. Ours was cracked in 4 spots and came apart in pieces. Any good sources on a used one? Thanks in advance

There is a reason for cracked exhaust manifolds. As the engine runs under load, the mainifold gets hot, thus the manifold expands and gets longer, in other words it pushes the ends outward. Now at shut down it contracts and tries to slide the outter ends inward as it cools. If the hardware is too tight or surfaces are too rough, it can't slide and pulls apart (cracks).
Make sure surfaces are clean and smooth. Use the proper gaskets. Do not use sealer and torque to recommended specifications and problem will be eliminated.

Mike, I'd pull all the injectors and have them checked. More than likely only the tips need replaced and not the complete injectors, price it out and see what the best deal is.

For a manifold, there's a guy in KY that has used engines and parts, his # is 270-427-4588. Maybe he can help you out, WB.
