I have an Oliver 550. When looking for a manual, I ordered the I&T Shop manual for the Cockshutt 550. I've read several places on this web site that the Cockshutt 550 and the Oliver 550 are the same, only sold in different countries. I have the Cockshutt 550 manual and it does not seem to be for my Oliver 550. There are significant differences from its 550 references to my Oliver 550. Anyone have any thoughts.

David

Thanks Bob. I appreciate your comments. I believe I have the manual for the original Cockshutt 550. Anyone need a I&T Shop manual for the Cockshutt 550?

David

There were actually 2 different Cockshutt 550s. The original, built by Cockshutt, was a rowcrop tractor with a Hercules 198 gas or diesel engine. After White merged Oliver and Cockshutt, the Oliver 550 (a totally diferent utility tractor) was sold in Canada as a Cockshutt 550.
