In reference to my earlier question, HOW MUCH MORE HP WILL A DIRECT INJECTION 310 MAKE COMPARED TO A LANOVA STYLE 310? I've got a Lanova 310 that I plan on putting into a 77 for pulling.

I am running 140hp out of a 310ci. direct injection, but then that is not all together true. It is stroked and got bigger pistons than normal, so it is not 310ci. know more. At first motor was in a Super 77 for 5 years or so. I was fixing rear end all the time, broke 3 axle housing at different times, twisted off one axle, broke 3 or 4 hubs, broke 2 bowl gears, twisted teeth lose from center of bowl gear 2 times, I had to weld back together again. Broke the gear on the inside of the brake, 2 or 3 times. I now have that motor in a Super 88, broke second axle housing last fall that allso broke bowl gear and gear inside of brake. But I have a lot of fun with that tractor. Larry.
