Downpressure on 3-point in 1550: how do I tell if

Looked at this 1550 today and took a lot of digital photos. I understand these can have down pressure on the 3-point hitch if it has the correct, "cylinder(s)." How do I tell if it has this? I was not able to play with the 3-point enough to figure out that part.

Thanks. I can live without down pressure. I had heard it, "can," have it, and thought it would be an interesting option.

I could sell you some weights to get you the down pressure you want. Like J Schwiebert said, theres no down pressure on these tractors.

Down pressure can be installed on any tractor with dual service outlets. Done mostly on the older Olivers that did not come with a three point hitch. The cyclinder is insalled between the lower lift arm and the top mount where ever that may be as many aftermarket three points are made different. Works good on the older models like the 770 and 880, super series. Later models like the four digit series came with three point already from the factory, but no down pressure.

Sorry to disapoint you. The 1550 is like most other tractors with an internal cylinder for the 3-Point. There is no down pressure.
