Here is a line of triple digit series tractors at our local show. 440 through 880. There was a 990 at the show also, however the row got filled before we he got there. The 660 is my tractor.

In regards to the comments on a Super 44, there is one parked to the left of the 440 in the photo. Lots of nice Olivers in this part of the country!

I'd love to find a 440 or a Super 44 either one. But in my area I have never even seen one. And if I did find one I probably couldn't find the $$ to by it. My wife likes a friends Farmall cub so I think she would really like a S44 or a 440. Plus it would fit in better with the other Olivers I have LOL. But she might not like it so much when she had to be the one that raked the hay with it LOL. I won't let her use what I raked with this year. My 1935 JD-B

I think I have the most unusual use for an S44. When I was in college during the late 50"s I got a part time job with the publicity department for the short lived International Dairy Show at the Chicago Stock Yards. They wanted to parade dairy cows on Michigan Avenue to publicize the show. I hauled a purebred dairy cow (maybe Brown Swiss) on a wagon down Michigan Avenue pulled by an Oliver Super 44. They had several S44"s there so they used them in the parade. The hind wheel started to come loose on the way back to the ampitheatre and I stopped at a gas station and borrowed some wrenches to fix it.

Seems like if it was a 990 he could park anywhere he wanted (: P). Sort of that where does a 1000 pound Gorialla sleep.....
Nice photo.
