I went to the Pertronix web site. They list three different parts for the Holley distributor.
Ignitor
module
magnet sleeve
What parts do I need for the conversion?
Thanks Stan

The ignitor kit consists of the module and magnet sleeve and installation instructions.

The module and sleeve are individual replacement parts available to replace either item, should it fail, or be damaged.

Well I ordered one from Pertronix $135.00 includes shipping. Thats $35.00 plus shipping cheaper than Maibachs. Should I get one of the hot coils they brag about? Is this going to be easy to install? Does the distributor have to be removed?
Thanks Stan

I just put one on my 1600 yesterday, it's really easy. No need to remove the dist., and it only takes about 15-20 minutes.

I wouldn"t bother with a "hot" coil. That"s for the racing boys who run huge spark plug gaps and 8,000 RPM.
