77 RC Engine overhaul costs

Greetings, I need and idea of how much an engine overhaul will run on a 77 Row Crop..circa '50. Assuming that this tractor has never been torn down, it would likely be wise to include a clutch replacement, wouldn't you say? Who was the original manufacturer of this engine and does anyone know of an engine exchange supplier out there? Thanks in advance! Dale

I don't know how much it would cost for an overhaul. I certainly would replace the clutch. The original engine manufacturer was Waukausha(spelling?) For a replacement engine try Central Tractor, 1-800-247-7508. If you live in the midwest or east, there should be one near you. Good Luck. By the way I'm also looking at a Oliver 77 to buy tomorrow night here in western Washington.
