Hi all ! I remember last year someone posting about converting a tph to have down pressure . I just don't remember what model was being talked about . Is this possible for a 1755 and if so is it easy/inexpensive ? I'm talking about a internal change not a top link cylinder . But I'd like to get one of those too . I just got a box blade but it only weighs 800lbs so some down pressure would be useful I think . Thanks ...Randy

The answer to the coversion on the three point cylinder is no. If you find a 770 or 880 with a power traction hitch you can have down pressure. An Oliver with a 3 point hydra-hitch will also allow you to do that as well. Hang a couple of wheel weights on your blade.

Thanks J ! I didn't think it was a 4 digit tractor but wasn't sure . I don't know if I need more weight yet or not because I'm not that familiar with it's use yet . Take care and have a good 4th ! ...Randy

Hey J , I'm looking for some stack weights ya know where I might find some ? LOL ! I was in your neighborhood Saturday and thought of calling you but was in kind of a hurry to get up there into Wisc. before the dealer closed . It's about 1.5 hrs from my house to I90 and 63 . I haven't forgotten and I'm still looking for suitcase weights . I went to the local agco-allis dealer one day ( The one that I don't buy parts from ) and came around the corner and saw a full rack of suitcase weights on a Oliver and about flipped till I realized they were brand new agco weights . Oh well ! I thought I had hit the motherload for a moment . Sorry ! I still need at least one more stack weight and then maybe a couple slabs in front of that . The next implement I want to get is a rotary cutter in the 8' range . Something else I don't NEED I just don't like to borrow stuff . The front was a little light with that 800lbs box blade on it close in so a rotary cutter sticking WAY out back should make it even lighter . But that's down the road a goods ways yet . I have to many other things to get done before that happens . If you need to sell it ( if you still have it ) go ahead . I can find them around here too . Stackers aren't hard to come by I'm finding out , there not all over but not rare either . Not as rare as those suitcase weights are ! I'll keep asking for them and someday someone will say they have some and then you can finish out your set . Good things come to those who wait . BTW , How many are needed for a " set " ? And how much does each one weigh ? Have a good 4th ! Take care ...Randy

Hi Randy, happy 4th as well. I got that stacker sitting here waiting for you, and currently I am just kinda watching and waiting on any more suitcases. I did come across some MM suitcases, and I got them reasonable. So, if I can come across enough MM ones and another 2 "Oliver" ones, I would be in business if I could find another starter.....ugh, onces in awhile you find some:)
