I drove my buddies 1850 with the 354 Perkins diesel last night through a big pasture, what a ride. That engine sounds good with that chrome stack.I had never paid much attention to the four digit Ollies as compared to the IH's and John Deere till now.Oliver had some nice tractors that I am now noticing more.I have a Super 88 that I love to operate,I might put some of that 2.82 gas in it and take a ride this weekend. What JD's and IH's were the competition for an 1850?Also how do some of you like a 1950T?Jack(TN).

I have a few Olivers myself but no way a 1850 will out do a 806!

The deere would be a 4020 and the ih would be an 806. The 1850 would run circles around them.

I know where there is a 1800 with your name on it. Your right though, those 1850 are tough!!!! IH 966 and JD 4020 are about the same. The Oliver is rated a little lower on HP but will pull the same.

Not yet. It was probably going back to the shop next week but the dishwasher died so I can either have a tractor that I really don't HAVE to use or clean dishes to eat off of..... man reality is not fun at all....LOL!!!!
