O.K. need some advice and information folks... Found a 2150 in a guys barn, he wants to sell, said make him an offer and haul it off. Said he'd had it several years and the main thing wrong with it was nobody knew anything about it or how to work on it. We jump started it, and it started immediately although it has obviously been sitting for a few years, sounds great, good oil pressure, but smokes alot. The steering doesn't work at all and the hydraulics to lift the dozer blade on the front worked very slowly and only when the engine was run up. Three point hitch on the back does nothing, pto works, and he didn't know it had an over/under, had only used the six main gears. I'm unable to drive it because of the steering. Will need a rear and front tire, tin looks good, exhaust manifold is cracked, patched, and leaks, has original canopy, planetary rear end. It's 9'10" accross the rear tires. Hour meter and rmp doesn't work since 18xx hours. I love old tractors and engines and know this to be kind of a rare bird, and have uses for it, can also get by without it. Wanted to hear some Oliver guys' opinions and if I somehow get it over to my place will be back here often I'm sure. Thanks, Matt.

Well, the biggest question I would have is how much money does he want for it?

He said 2500, but I think he'd take less. Just don't know if all I'd be buying were an old engine and a lot of trouble, was hoping you guys might shed some light on the tractor and it's symptoms, and share your thoughts. Of course I know they could either be small or huge problems, if it was a Farmall or Ford I'd know better what I was looking at. Thanks, Matt.

We"ve a 2150D MFWD horse. Try and find a hydralic presure gauge that"ll fit a remote. My first thoughts are one of three problems. Relief valve (on right side front rock shaft housing) may need shiming, relief valve seat may be worn, or the hydralic pump is week or worn out. Easy to replace pump under rock shaft housing using chain falls. $2500.00 sounds fair, but needing a couple tires or more plus hydraulic repairs (pump less than $300.00) more bargaining wont hurt.

Hello Fernan
My wife and 6 grands spent the weekend at a campground just a little west of Otisville and up a gravel road about a mile--small lake there and I think it is a Methodist kind of a place.
Was wondering if we were near your place.
