I am in need a Oliver 5170 gravity bed. I currently have two good 5010 running gears. One has the 20 inch tires and the has the normal 16 inch. They are both in real good shape and pull very nice, however, the 5170 gravity beds have rusted and pitted terrible over the years. One gravity bed is bent up. I know these were made by Electric Wheel Co., did they make the same wagon for anybody else? Does anybody have a gravity box they would like to get rid of?

Let me know, Thanks
Shaun

Are you good with a welder? The instructor for ag-mechanics at the career center where I work had one that was all pitted from fertilizer. He cut the floor out and put new steel down. When I worked maintenance at this one place we would have metal shutes (or slides that were a 1/4 inch thick and the y would wear through. We would cut out a section and put a new one in. You will need to modify a couple of c-clamps to hold everything in alignment if you go this way. Around here that would be easier than finding another gravity box. Questions?

Good luck on finding any Oliver gravity box in decent shape for use. I have seen only one, and it was in pretty poor shape.
