Hello from the hot and steamy Mid-South! I am hoping to make the journey out to Dover, Ohio in August to attend the HPOCA Summer Show. I am a big fan of the Four-Digit tractors. I was wondering how many folks are planning to bring their 2255's, or other Oliver's with cast-iron grills. Have a great week!

I have one restored and ready to go.
With the current fuel prices, I don't think that I can afford to haul a 14K pound tractor out and back from Maryland.
Maybe I'll tape pictures of my 2255 to my hat so that people can see it while I walk around.

Are you planning to go to Dover? I heard that you were looking to buy a 2255. Is that true?

I hear you Dave. Can't hardly afford fuel to farm with much less haul the big boys around. My little 60 is looking like it's gonna be the show tractor from now on. On a lighter note, one of our local grain elevators announced they are building an Ethanol plant and our local refinery is putting in a up to date soy/diesel unit in. Our little refinery produces 75% of the ag diesel in the state so we're glad they are staying in business while helping out our other Elevator which has a soybean crushing plant.

I am going to try to go to Dover, and I havent decided if I am bringing a tractor or not. I would like to take the G-1355 Moline out there, but it is still not up and running yet. It should be by August but you know how that goes.....
