I've removed the cab from this tractor to drop weight for pulling (and hauling). It is now down to 13,400 pounds as an open station tractor with fender tanks and the starter weight. The goal is to get down to 12,500 pounds with operator. So I'm next looking at those heavy cast centers bolted between the planetary housings and the wheel rims. Does anyone know how much these weigh? I'm hoping they would weigh 600 pounds or more per side so that I could find a set of the wheatland steel centers or have a set made. Appreciate any info.

Fender tanks way more than regular ones if it has them

If I remember right, one of the worthington ag parts stores had a set of steel centers last year. Should get you close to 12,500. Good luck.

I found that the centers weigh about 800 lb.each.
I removed the cast centers, installed light rims, removed the 3 pt. arms and cylinders, replaced the cast nose with fiberglass.

I pull 10,500 through 15,500

Those cast centers will easily way 600 lbs apiece. This tractor pulls in Indiana and has pulled in the 11,000lb class. It is complete with 3pt and hydraulics.

There is a guy around here that pulls, Bi cast weights, no hydraulics. I will ask my boy but I think he can get it in the 10,000 pound class.
