770 rings

Just tore down gas 770 with m&w pistons. Pistons are 3 9/16 bore. Does anyone know where I may find rings for this engine? The three compression rings have 3/32 ring grooves and the oil ring is 1/4 inch.

Frank, go to any machine shop and they can order most any size ring you want. All they need is dimensions and #. Gary

Have you looked at any ring catalogs? Also a 3-1/2 inch 60 over set is only 0025 less. What do you do with the tractor/ What type of ring set are you looking at Chrome Molly cast good cheap? Do some looking before you get your checkook out. Questions?
