We lost a good tractor friend last year. They had his auction Sat. I stood there watching all the tools ,tractors and different things Delbert had accumulated and modified to suit his need. The little Oliver 60 with a big air comp on one side and big air tank on the other side I thought was really neat. I thought about Delbert, when he used that to sand blast ,he also had music of the 60 pumping air.I also thought about myself, all the things I need to get rid of ,that would mean nothing to my wife or family. Here is a few of the tractor prices ,Super 55 restored $6250, Super 77 restored $3100, 99 Diesel 7250,Hart Parr 70 on steel restored $2250, 88 gas with loader $1900, 88 gas fair $1200, 60 with air comp $1400,70 Hart Parr that rolled over on Delbert $650, Oliver 35 complete but rough $1250, 80 on full Steel $1000, Minnie Z red nose original ran good $3400,nice unrestored F-20 new tires $1750. I saw trucks & trailers from South Dakota, Wisc. Texas, Iowa. It was a good sale, but sad to see the end of a good man's collection. Delbert is really missed in our club.I&I Penfield, Illinois Earl Seamands

Amen Earl. Delbert was a great guy and will sure be missed by the Oliver crowd. The auction was kind of bittersweet but really good. That's a testament to how well Aumann's run an auction and how well thought of Delbert was. I bet he was sure proud of what that Super 55 brought! Wow!
