Here's a picture of me in the feild planting corn. Got all of the feild corn in yesterday, did the sweet and indian corn today after work. Now we have to wait until I can turn under some hay feilds for more corn. Gotta get the wishbone support on the 18's front axel welded on again in the mean time... Turns out the axel snapped off on the previouse owner and folded underneath, and everything was welded up again. The wishbone support didn't get nearly enough penetration and going diagonally over the chisel plowing on Saturday did it in.

So far so good. I've got about 35 hours on it so far, still tinkering here & there on it but it's great to drive it again.

Next thing I gotta do is get some new rubber torsion springs for the seat, I guess the ones for an 880 are the same. That'll probably be a winter project again...

Don, looks like fun, all we do is bale hay down here. Are you wanting to keep that critter original I guess? My 880 rubber suspension parts were shot so I kept the two upright round bars and welded a new seat to them with suspension something I bought at a local dealer. Worked out great makes for a nice ride with back support. Let us know how the sweet and indian corn come up. Good luck!

Yeah, atleast mostly original. I've added a few things like flashers, and a little chrome here & there. I like the seat, it just has nothing left to the torsion springs to make them work right.

If it works out, we're having parking in our fields for a huge fireworks convention at the race track (WIR, 1 mile east of the farm) in early August, and having a corn roast to go with it.

The convention originally came a few years ago and we made out pretty good. Add conscesions and we should really make out.
