I have a 1947 Cockshutt 30 wide front that a neighbor is interested in buying. But what"s it worth these days? It"s in running order and had new paint and decals about 15 years ago, tires are fair, some weather checking, but over all it looks and runs good.

my 30 was sold in 2001 for $1,400 dollars. It ran...kinda poorly though, had two new front tires, and some other stuff done to call it a partial restoration. The tractor your describing should be in the neighborhood of $1,500-2,000.... a 30 is a good Cockshutt tractor to have, but its common as any. Hope that helps!

Well I don't know about around where you are, but around here at the auctions I almost never seen anything even vaguely resembling a tractor sell for less than $850, $1000 if the motor runs. Seen a comparably-aged JD "A" that wouldn't run bring about $1700 at the most recent sale--and it was thought to be a bad sale because of poor turnout and things going awful cheap.

(The $850 was a F-12 with rubber tires that were all gone, rims shot, and looked like someone dragged it from a 20 year slumber in somebody's grove, stuck engine and all.)

As for my 2 running 30s, I know I wouldn't let anyone else sit on the seat for under $1400-and that's on a good day when I'm feeling generous. Other days, I wouldn't let it go at any price. As for the stuck motor and chassis price? Make an offer, I'll think about it! :)

A randomly-chosen tractor sale website has a 30 listed for $3000, not much in the way of details. You be the judge. Another one was listed on eBay in the last 30 days, got to 1333.00 after 20 bids, but didn't meet the reserve. A remarkably-similar website lists the price on a restored 30 for $1200--but lists several 20s from $300 to $2500.
Another one listed on eBay just broke $2000.

Just throwing out a few numbers. Someone else will have a better idea than I, I'm sure.
