Anyone know where I can find and Oliver 1730 quick attach loader in decent condition? Location is not important. I would prefer one in nice condition, but restorable is ok too.

These loaders seam to be fairly hard to come by. I have one, and I havent been able to find much info on them. I do know that Farmersville Equipment has 2 that are in pretty bad shape. I didnt see any mounts with them. You could give them a call, but I doubt you will like their price.

By the way I don't suppose you'd be interested in selling yours? I do need mounts also. I would be putting it on a 1955 that I have restored. I am also looking for various impliments. 6 row corn planter and cultivator, grain drills, pull behind fild cultivator, a 13-14ft model 265 disk all from around the early to middle 70's vintage. If it isn't green i'm not interested. I have gone to quite a few sales that advertised having Oliver equipment, only to find that it was White. One had a 5542 combine on it that had never been in the field. I was very disappointed to find that it was White, not Oliver. Thanks. Jody

No, I wont part with mine, sorry. Where are you located? I am in Lancaster County Pa and there is a lot of Oliver stuff around here. There was an Oliver dealership (N.G. Hershey) that sold a lot of equipment. Most of the guys that bought from him are now retiring so the stuff is selling cheap. The old drills are almost a give away. Cant say that I have seen a 6 row around here. A fair amount of the old 4 rows though...
Good luck on your search

where is farmersville impliment? Do you have a phone # for them? If the loaders are just worn bad on the pivots and stuff-that can be repaired, if they are all broken up, that is a different story.
