My 30 has the old style rectangular hydraulic control. Only one side really works and the other side makes a shuddering sound. I assume some springs and seals need replacement. Any sources for this stuff. Phil?

Mine does that too, though only at a slow idle speed. Did it a lot worse when I first started running one, because the engine was only running on 2 instead of all 4 cylinders. I've thought it was normal, because it has done that since I started running a Cockshutt tractor (and both of mine that have hydraulics do it.)

I've also noticed that it will do it more severely if that little reservoir in front of the radiator is low. (Cylinders on my loader seep a little.) So I check it every now and again, especially when the loader doesn't go all the way up.
