I have done some research and found that my grandfather owned and used a model 4 mounted corn picker on his two oliver 80's. I am interested in finding one of these to put back on the tractor. Does anyone know how rare these are, and the values of these. Thanks in advance for the input and advice.
Nick

NSC,

The model 4 picker would not fit on a 80 tractor. Oliver only made mounting brackets for the 70, 77, 88, Super 77 & 88, 770 & 880's. They also built mounting brackets to mount the model 4 on Cockshutt, IH, Massey, and Allis' tractors.

I don"t know how rare they are, but I"ve got one that I would part with. I bought an Oliver 70 with a model 4 picker mounted on it. I didn"t want the picker, but the guy said that to get the tractor I had to take the picker with it, so you get the picture. I also have the operator"s manual that came with it. It"s by no means in mint shape, but restoreable. Located in the far north Kansas.
