I have located a 770LP sitting by a fence row. The motor turns over, but several things are missing from the tractor. Is there anywhere on the tractor where I would find the serial number? The tag is missing on the dash. It is missing grill, radiator, some tin, and the air filter. Where would you suggest searching for replacement parts. This is in Texas and there are very few 770's down here. In your opinon, is this model a dud or is it a good enuf tractor that there are no problems w/them. You don't see many of this model on this forum.
Thanks for any info..

The 770 was built from 1958 - 1967. They are an improved newer version of the 77 and super 77. New and used parts availability should be easy to get shipped to you.

Theres a number on the block behind the starter that if it isn't the serail number it is very close and will tell you the year is used from what I have been told. The 770 is a newer 77/S77. Good tractors from what I know but have only been on one of them and will be on it again soon if the lady that owns it still want me to fix it for her that is
