How big a hurry are you? Starting this fall in the hpoca news letter there will be a series of tech articles on the older hydraulic units. This will be covered then. If you have questions now send me a pm on the hpoca site. Questions?

You need to tap into the "power beyond" feature, if it has one. On my 1550, one of the pipe plugs (near the front of the housing, as I recall) had a smaller pipe-threaded hole inside. You put a 3/8 pipe plug into that inside hole, and voila, you've got a live hydraulic port. Run a hose from that port through the loader valve, then back to a return port. The return will just be a plug down on the side of the housing to return the oil to the reservoir.

He is talking 770 and yes they have a power beyond feature. I sent him an e-mail. J.
