There was a article featuring my 1600 and myself, the author did a really nice job on it. We exchanged many emails talking about it and to my surprise it was a very large article. Just wondering if anyone else has read it?

Don it was nice to see that you where recognised of your work. It is something to be proud of. I have a 1650 that just needs paint, plus all the elbow grease. Keep up the good work. I like to hear whats going on in your hood. Boco from So. Il.

Well, this weekend I finally got the lights wired up, and started hooking up the hydraulics. Once hose I had made up was a little too short to loop around to give me the flex it needs. I can still use it on the other side though so I didn't completely waste $15 just for the one fitting that they get. Over $100 per side for the connect under pressure couplers, new mounting brackets, and new hoses w/ 90 deg. male swivel on one end (thats the expensive one!!!) Originally I was gonna stick with one set of remotes like it always had, but I could think of a few things that would use 2 sets like a V-rake we borrow from time to time. The one hose too short was the tie breaker. Still tinkering with it, adjusting this and tweeking that...

I haven't heard of it. Nice to know there is another magazine. Is it like Antique Power?

never read antrique power, but this one covers the "newer" models from 1960-90, all makes and models. Their sister magazine is one for JD, can"t remember the name. I think i"m gonna subscribe to this one though, the articles seem really nice.

I just got the magazine at the end of last week. Really good article.
Just remember you can't put a price on a family heirloom. I've got a VAC case that has been in the family since new & I have a lot in it but it is worth it when the rest of the relatives come to see "Grandpa's" tractor.

Don't worry, this one is never leaving me so long as I can help it. I just can't put a price on Grandpa's tractor. It is very rewarding when all my brothers come home and they look it over and just say "wow"
