Oliver 60 std/ind

Can anyone shed any light on how the tool box attaches to machine. I have the tool box shown as the proper one in the parts manual, but I can't seem to locate it's rightful place on the machine. I feel it belongs somewhere on the right floorboard, but there isn't enough holes to accomodate it. Is there another bracket of some type, that's missing???

I have 60 RC that has a tool box located on the left side under the gas tank. it looks to be original. you gain access to it by opening the side panel. hope this help or it may confuse you more !

:on a std oliver 60, the tool box is mounted under the gas tank above the drive shaft. your tool box should have brackets about 5 inches long to provide the clearance over the drive shaft. : : Can anyone shed any light on how the tool box attaches to machine. I'm going to go down to Lynden, Washington next week end to a tractor show and the featured tractors are Olivers (Yippee). If there is a Oliver 60 standard industrial, I will check out the toolbox location for you. Might even get to snap a few pictures. Can you wait a week?

Hey, I've been waiting almost 4 years to finish this one... longest project machine I've EVER been on! It's on the "home stretch" now (with every nut and bolt turned at least once). There's a pair of holes in the right floorboard that match the spacing on _one_ end of the tool box, but nothing to bolt the other end to? Any std. OR ind. should have the same toolbox. I'll look for your reply next week!

Its been a while, but didn't the toolbox on the 60 mount inside the frame in front of the motor?

I've got a JD60 with the toolbox in front of the engine... but on the Oliver60 ind., you'd have a hard time putting anything more than a hacksaw blade up there. It probably shows the location in the operators manual, but all I have is the parts book.
