Hello, I am a Farmall Guy, Please help me . I have a friend who asked me to help identify an old tractor in a field. I am pretty sure its a Super 55 from what I found out in the serial Number Forum. I am not sure about the Specification Number Versus the Serial Number. I dont know how Oliver used these 2 different numbers. The Tag on the Bell Housing says

Specification # 15-0008

Serial # 23 587 518

Can anyone confirm we have a 1955, Oliver Super 55 ?

Thanks in advance.

Can't help with the number but if it looks sort of like a Ford 801 series its most likely a Super 55. If you painted a S55 gray like a ford and where driveing by it you would think it was a ford.
