I have recently discovered a Co-op model 3 that is mainly complete but is in rough shape. How rare is this tractor and would it be worth draging in for the future. It is a tricycle front end with red seal 4 cylinder engine that is stuck to high heavends . The next stop would be the car crusher if some one dosen't save it. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

If you don't want it I might be interested!!!
I worked in Co-ops for a number of years and have been looking for a co-op tractor.

Thanks

A Co-op with a flathead Continental 4-cyl is a model "C" (rare) or model B-2 JR. (super-rare). The models #2, #3, styled 3, B2 and B3 and D3 all had 6-cyl Chryslers. It is definately worth pulling out and saving.

well its not an E-3 and A model #3 does not have a 4cyl it should have a chrysler 6cyl and were not trycycle..

now I think you have a #2 which I personally think is rarer especially with the tricycle front.

if its a B2 its a rarer yet..

I remember the day my dad drove his new E-3 home in 1948. It is mine now and in a museum, my currant knowledge of your tractors worth is obsolete but I have got to think that it could be parted out for several multiples of its scrape value. The location of it would be a significant factor.
