Mr.Schweibert I came across a what I think is a 77, it has a diesel eng. the serial # is 3500491 on the block the # is 185220, could U check that # and tell me the year, and if it is somewhat rare, they also have a gas one but no serial # the owner thinks its a 77 also, the diesel will start and run the gas would need some work. Thanks Johnnie

Was there any other digits preceeding or proceeding the 185220? If not the crankcase is a oliver part number M-100. It will be listed in the parts book as M-100A. The same crankcase wass used for both the diesel and gas engines in the 77 fleetline tractors.

According to the serial numbers Kim has posted on this site (look under Research & Info) the 77 diesel is a 1953 rowcrop.
