Went to a farm sale on Sat. in Sac City Iowa. The owner had passed away last fall. They had 6 Oliver tractors that were sold and except for the 70s they were working tractors that had been used in the farm operation. The working tractors all had good rubber and the one 70 had new Titan tires on the rear.Prices were as follows: 70 parts tractor, no head and other parts missing, tires were junk: $85.00 70 parts tractor, new rear tires, motor had been worked on and probably would run, no dash, no side tins: $850.00 770 gas, nf, chains. 1610 Oliver loader, w/power booster, ran good, exhaust manifold was cracked: $3350 1650 gas, nf, good tin, ran good: $4600 1755 diesel, wf, good tin, cab, ran good: $6050 2255 diesel, wf, good tin, cab w/fuel tanks, newer Cat motor, ran good: $7400 They had a white 8700 combine that brought $2600 w/o heads. There was a White 4 bottom adjustable plow (14-16-18-22 inches) that brought $1450. Great day weatherwise for a sale and there was a large crowd.
